Oakley is doing great..we've given him the entire winter off and just now are going to start to bring him back. He still seems a little off so I'm going to run him into our vet and have some studies done. I would really like to contact your vet and get those X rays sent to my vet so we have a good starting point. Oakley is quite the character and we really enjoy him, you were complete right about him and food time...what a bratty pig!!! Changed up his diet due to some of the things you mentioned and that I read up on..He's on Alfalfa and oil--seemed like he might have EPSM (Equine Polysaccaride Storage Myopathy)--in other words he and carbs don't get has really improved his top line and the way he goes but there still is some shortness of his stride on the left. Could you get back to me with your vet's name and address and phone number so I can get those X rays--you'll probably have to call her and let her know that it's okay to release them I'm guessing!! Love all your new horses..I enjoy going out to your website and seeing what you are up to!! Thanks a bunch, look forward to hearing from you!!! Cindy
